Down Payment Assistance
The Washington Bond Program
Our in-state program is certified by the Washington State Housing & Finance Commission and provides potential home buyers the opportunity to receive assistance with the down payment for their home. The average amount of assistance the average homebuyer receives when using the program is $10,000. The program is still a loan but with significantly reduced interest rates, from 0% to 4% depending on the program, and it is built into the mortgage payment so no multiple bills. In order to be made eligible you have to be looking to purchase a home somewhere within Washington State, have a credit score of at least 620, have a combined household income of Under $145,000 a year, and attend a complete homebuyer education class.
